Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HAAO marketing website at haao-site.pages.dev (the "Site"), operated by an individual ("Hsun-Chieh", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About the Site and the software

The Site is an informational and marketing website for HAAO, an open-source project. The HAAO software is licensed separately under the MIT License (see the repository). These Terms govern the Site only; your use of the HAAO software is governed by its own license and not by these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems; (b) interfere with or disrupt the Site, for example through denial-of-service attempts or abusive automated requests; (c) use the Site to violate any applicable law or the rights of others; or (d) misrepresent your affiliation with HAAO.

Intellectual property

The HAAO name, logo, and the text, design, and graphics of the Site are owned by us, except where otherwise noted. Source code published in the HAAO repository is made available under the MIT License and may be used under that license's terms. Nothing on the Site grants you a right to use our trademarks without prior written permission.

Demo and prototype disclaimer

HAAO is an early-stage prototype. The interactive demo is a simulation and does not make live model calls. Any metrics, examples, or results shown on the Site (including pilot figures) are provided for illustration, may be based on small samples, and should not be relied upon as benchmarks or guarantees.

Pricing

Any pricing shown on the Site is provisional and for informational purposes only. It does not constitute an offer and may change at any time before a formal commercial launch.

No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.

External links

The Site links to third-party websites and services (such as GitHub and the demo). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Site, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Taiwan.
