Pricing is provisional. HAAO is a pre-launch prototype. The structure below reflects the intended open-core model; figures will firm up after validation on real repos.

Pricing questions

Is the free version really free forever?

Yes. The desktop/self-hosted app is MIT licensed. You bring your own model provider keys and pay only your own inference costs — which stay low because execution runs on local models.

What counts as a seat?

One person on your team with access to the hosted workspace. The Open Source tier has no seat concept — run it however you like.

How does HAAO keep cloud costs down?

Work stays on local models by default and only escalates to the frontier model when a retry budget is exhausted. The cloud audits the diff, not the whole repo. The metric we optimize is cost per accepted ticket.

Can I move from self-hosted to Team later?

Yes — that's the intended path. Start self-hosted, move to hosted Team when you want collaboration and dashboards without running infra.
